Hi my name is Haylea and I am a year 8 at K.IS. And I am a proud Tauira holder.
Some things about me: My Favourite colours are green and purple. I love chocolate. I live with both of my parents and I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. For our pets we have 2 dogs, 7 cats, 8 chickens, 2 birds and 1 annoying duck! My best friends are Madison, Samantha, Jasmin, and Caitlin. My favourite subjects are maths and spelling and I HATE fitness! My two most recomended movies are The Help and Brides Maids. When I am older I want to be a lawyer. I am a member of 1st Kamo Girls Brigade. I have my own cat and her name is Willow. I was born on the 11th of March 2000 at Middle more Hospital in Auckland. My favourite culture to explore is Japanese.
This is a story that I wrote on Wednesday the 23rd of May 2012:
It was from nowhere, a small creature appeared at the door holding a bottle. It was three - quarters full in a white liquid. I turned on the light, but she had disappeared. So, I went back to bed.
CRASH! I heard a loud crash. It was so loud, it echoed. It came from a room at the end of the hallway. So then I decided to get up and see what it was. There was glass everywhere.
On this small, delicate, young child, were deep gashes into the skin were filled with glistening ruby, red blood, Screams of terror filled my ears. The sound was unbearable.
I quickly scooped her up with my hands. I calm her down, But She was still in unbearable pain. I lay her on the bed. I grab the first aid kit and grabbed the tweezers and picked out the pieces of glass. I grabbed out a pressure bandage.
Luckily there were no more screams of terror. I wipe the teardrops off her face. I still hear slight sobbing. I hear running footsteps coming towards me. I fell a wave of relief coming over my body. "There's my baby!" She says. That must be the mother, I think to myself.
The mother picks up her baby, and gives her a cuddle and a kiss. They go back to their cabin on the ship. But, I am relieved I did my part. The End.
